There are generally only three Alta Sacerdotisa at a time, one for each of the cregans. They rule their islands apart from the Priestess on Alta who acts as the Arcipresta Suprema's deputy.
Etymology
[edit]The name comes from "high priestess", directly translated.
Appearance
[edit]The Priestesses have a trim colour of blue. Their nose jewellery is a gold ring in the right nostril with a chain linking to a ring earring in the right ear.
Notes
[edit]Alta Sacerdotisa usually attain their rank between the ages of 60 to 65, but can be younger if the post becomes vacant and there is not a suitable older candidate.
