Notes to remember when writing the stories:
Measurements
- On Earth, the Maddisons use metric so all references to measurement is metric (unless made by a character who would use Imperial).
- In Altierra, all references are to Imperial except when used specifially by one of the Maddisons.
Titles
- Priestesses and Handmaidens always use the titles "Sacerdotisa" and "Criada" when referring to their castes.
- Guardia officers use "Sacerdotisa" and "Criada"; the troopers use "Priestess" and "Handmaiden".
- Bestia and general populace always use the titles "Priestess", and "Handmaiden".
- Bestia are nearly always referred to as such, rarely "Slaves".
Note:
- Vila, although a Bestia, uses "Criada" in an attempt to sound more superior.
Altierran words
Common to all
- Anon (soon)
- Naught (nothing)
- Aye (yes)
- May hap (perhaps)
- gran (large)
