Writing notes

Notes to remember when writing the stories:

Measurements

• On Earth, the Maddisons use metric so all references to measurement is metric (unless made by a character who would use Imperial).
• In Altierra, all references are to Imperial except when used specifially by one of the Maddisons.

Titles

• Priestesses and Handmaidens always use the titles "Sacerdotisa" and "Criada" when referring to their castes.

• Guardia officers use "Sacerdotisa" and "Criada"; the troopers use "Priestess" and "Handmaiden".

• Bestia and general populace always use the titles "Priestess", and "Handmaiden".

• Bestia are nearly always referred to as such, rarely "Slaves".

Note:

• Vila, although a Bestia, uses "Criada" in an attempt to sound more superior.

Altierran words

• Priestesses always use full words, no contractions (eg. "do not" rather than "don't".
• Anon (soon)
• Naught (nothing)
• Aye (yes)
• May hap (perhaps)
• gran (large)
