English: Recruit
Recluta are untrained foot soldiers. There is no training establishment for Guardia: new recruits are placed among trained troopers to learn their trade. They are considered Soldado when their commander believes them suitable.
Etymology
The name is the direct Spanish word for "recruit".
Appearance
The recluta has no identifying insignia to differentiate them from Soldados. As their training is among qualified Guardia, everyone will know their identity.
Notes
Before being able to work in a cregan, a Guardia needs to go through the Ceremony of Purification. This is usually when they are Recluta, but it could apply to any rank.
